Are you guilty? Warm-up routine

As a runner, I know that the easiest way to squeeze in a running workout, is to just go out and run. You get dressed, you put on the shoes and you go outside. How many of us do a proper warm-up routine? I am guilty of not doing it every single time…

As a personal trainer, I know that the easiest way to get injured, is to not take the time to get the body warm and mobile.

WE WILL RUN

“On April 21, 2014 the world’s focus will return to this great city to watch the 118th Boston Marathon. As usual, runners will take their places at the 26.2-mile mark, while friends, family, and the people of this iconic city line the streets to cheer them on. The memory of last year’s heinous and senseless act will not shy runners or spectators from celebrating this annual sporting event that welcomes participants from all over the world. Yet, we will all stand in remembrance of the beautiful people who lost their lives and those who were gravely injured in the tragedy. In pain we found love. We grieved together and chose friendship over hate. We honor the brave men and women who tirelessly worked in the days after the bombings. This short video is dedicated to the great city of Boston and its people, and especially to the victims Martin Richard, Krystle Campbell and Lingzi Lu, as well as to MIT Police Officer Sean Collier who died in the line of duty. They messed with the wrong city. We choose to be Boston Strong and WE WILL RUN”

Running away?

Do you run away when you face a “problem” in your life? This video might be silly or I have a bad taste in humor.
Hopefully it will make you laugh, maybe just a little bit 🙂

Next stop – Hong Kong

“Hong Kong has more to offer than most people realise. Over the past couple years I’ve begun to explore more of what it has to offer and even after a lifetime in HK have only recently seen areas and views for the first time. Saturday morning was once a time to lie in with a pounding headache but is now generally a time to enjoy the outdoors and push further. That’s not to say those hangovers don’t still happen, just maybe not as frequently. Currently, I’m running to take part in ultra-marathons – after all the longer you go for the more of the outdoors you get to see. And that’s why I run.” – Ben Lee

Enjoy!

Jayson and Brendan – Run Rabbit Run 100

“Jayson had talked me into it, and if I were to be completely honest, I’d say we were there to test out his life philosophy, which is basically that you can do anything you dream up, as long as you put in the work and refuse to quit. That ethic has worked for him in almost every other area of life, despite growing up in poverty, one of six children with no father, and dyslexia”

Jayson and Brendan has been friends since college and decides to run 100 miles together. I don’t want to give you any spoilers.
It’s a beautiful journey to watch and I didn’t expect that much story and character development but it’s gets really good!
